DR Frank Vicente

Dr. Francisco “Frank” Vicente is a veteran Massachusetts Educator, Teacher, and Educational Leader. He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell where he completed his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. Serving the commonwealth for more than two decades, Dr. Vicente has been privileged to lead in some of the largest urban districts in Massachusetts. He began his teaching career with the Lawrence Public Schools as a Substantially Separate Special Education Middle School Teacher. Dr. Vicente would transition to the Lowell Public where he would spend the better part of 2 decades as a High School Special Education Teacher, District Evaluation Team Chair, School Administrator, and the Director of Special Education for a community of 15,000 families and 30 schools. Continuing his pursuit of educational leadership and systemic change, Dr. Vicente was afforded the opportunity to join the Central Administrative Team of the Boston Public Schools where he currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Instruction for the Office of Specialized Services. The largest urban district in New England, Boston is a district of 48,000 families across 120 schools in 9 regions where Dr. Vicente leads a multi-year district initiative for Inclusive Education while providing instructional leadership and oversight to the educators who serve the city.

Frank Vicente is an Arizona native, born and raised in the tight knit community of Prescott, Arizona. The youngest of six children, Frank was raised with the rich cultural history of his Mexican American roots. He is a resident of New Hampshire, a proud Husband and Father, and a lifelong learner who has dedicated his life to faith and family.

MRS. Alexis Florence

Mrs. Alexis Florence is a lifelong Massachusetts educator who has proudly served the communities of Lowell and Boston. For 20 years Alexis was a member of the Lowell Public Schools Special Education Team where she held the positions of Middle School and High School Special Education Teacher, Evaluation Team Chair, and Assistant Director of Special Education. Currently Mrs. Florence is the Senior Director of Related Services for the Boston Public Schools where she supports more than 300 related service providers across 120 schools. She is a high level expert in Special Education evaluation and the author of the Florence Evaluation Protocol. Alexis is a graduate of Fitchburg State University where she completed her CAGS in Special Education Leadership and Management.

Alexis Florence is a resident of Lowell Massachusetts. She is married and the mother of 4 children. Alexis is an avid runner who has completed 5 marathons including the Boston Marathon and the Chicago Marathon.
